The all-new GMC Sierra promises to be the most advanced and luxurious iteration of the popular pickup ever, boasting industry-first offerings like the MultiPro Tailgate and CarbonPro carbon fiber pickup box. With the announcement of the 2019 GMC Sierra AT4, the most refined truck on the road becomes one of the most rugged, ready to conquer the wild outdoors.
GMC promises that the Sierra AT4 will not only build on the legacy of its premium pickup truck but that it will launch a new adventure-focused brand that will soon find its way to the brand’s other trucks and SUVs.
Differentiating the 2019 Sierra AT4 aesthetically are exclusive 18- and 20-inch wheel designs; black chrome finish on the fog lamp bezels, grille insert, and fender surround; body-color grille surround, bumper, and door handles; and red vertical recovery hooks. On the inside, the Sierra AT4 will feature a similarly darkened trim with Jet Black/Kalahari color accents, leather-appointed seating with embroidered headrests, and convenient all-weather floormats.
The biggest upgrades, however, concern the Sierra AT4’s ability to perform. This includes a 2-inch factory-installed suspension lift, off-road-tuned Rancho monotube shock absorbers, and standard 4WD with two-speed transfer case and locking rear differential. The 2019 Sierra AT4 will also be offered with the CarbonPro pickup box, the segment-first Rear Camera Mirror and Multi-Color Head-Up Display, and a burly 3.0-liter Duramax® inline-six turbo-diesel engine.
If you have been waiting for a GMC truck capable of taming the untamed, the 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 is on its way to Vail Buick GMC later this fall.
